Oxfam’s Biggest Coffee Break is an annual event that takes place during Fair Trade Fortnight (May 7-22), aimed at raising awareness of fair trade in New Zealand as well as money for Oxfam’s work towards a just world without poverty.

In 2010, over 20,000 New Zealanders participated in Coffee Breaks throughout the country, making it the largest, most successful event of its kind here in New Zealand.

Hold a Coffee Break with your friends or workmates this Fair Trade Fortnight (May 7-22) and not only will you get to natter with them over a delicious Fairtrade cuppa, you’ll also be raising money for Oxfam’s work towards a fairer, safer, more sustainable world.

The official date for Oxfam’s Biggest Coffee Break 2011 is Friday, May 20, but you can host a Coffee Break any time during Fair Trade Fortnight from May 7–22

It’s back again. New Zealand’s most famous fashion sale returns as part of the 2011 New Zealand Fashion Festival.

Two days of sale madness, mayhem and magic. Starfish will be offering up some unbelivable discounts on past season goodies, so be sure to bring your eco bags along to haul home all your loot!

Starfish is very proud to be amongst a talented bunch of Wellington designers and boutiques taking part in ‘Love To Chch’ – a fundraiser fashion show at:

the St James, Wellington, Tuesday 22nd March at 7pm. Tickets $55, or $75 for the front row, and are available from Ticketek. All proceeds go to the relief fund.

This will be a great night out for a great cause with nibbles, wine, live entertainment, spot prizes – and of course everyone gets to go home with a fantastic goody bag.
